Site is down? But when access IP address it is fine?

Hi,

I think i may be having trouble with my registrar? I cannot access my site through my domain, but when using the IP addess it comes up fine?

Checked Domainsite CP and nameservers havent been touched. What could it be?

are you on a shared host or do you have your own server?...possibly the hosts nameserver server is down?

 

sounds like your nameservers are down, not your host.

Can i change that through the reseller CP? Or is it a server problem.

 

it depends who you have, but your name servers are replying, they just are not replying for your domain. are you using a proxy?

I would log into your control panel at domainsite and check your nameservers, right now they say proxyeffect - also there was a change on your account today according to the registrar

 

All i did at domainsite was make sure the right nameservers were there, which they were.

The host is a shared server, basically i have a reseller cp where i can change te nameservers. They are currently 2 IP addresses I can choose from.

The management has been changed and are now some what uncontactable. In the reseller CP, is there anything i can do?

I am sick of bad hosting providers.

 

have you checked your nameserver? restarting it may help you

 

It ended up being my site was forgotten about during a server exchange.

Rediculous really

 

Change your nameservers IPs again and restart

service named reload
