Site indexing problem due to 301 redirect

    Hello friends,

    I have launched a new site some 2 months ago, earlier the site is been indexing without www. so i have redirect the domain without www. to www.sitename.com using 301 permanent htaccess file also set the fixed parameter in GWT...
    But now my site is been not indexing since so many days also no info in Google..i have removed the 301 redirect bt still no visits of Google spider..

    use google sitemap. and if you using wordpress for your site, don't forget to install plugin called 'Smart 404'. That awsome. But hey, if you using WP, its all automatic fixed by plugin called 'Ultimate SEO'.

    Well i am not using wordpress the site is build on html and i have already submitted the sitemap, it shows crawled in GWT bt when u search in Google than no index shows..after 6th of August.

    If you have 301 redirect either non-www to with-www or opposite, then you have done good for your website in longterm ranking and indexing.

    Make sure URLs in your XML sitemap uses the same as your redirects...
    And you set the option in Google Webmaster Tools.

    Then it really just should be waiting...

    Well, right now your website can be accessed with-www and non-www. I think you should research to which kind of the two you got most backlinks. Then keep that and redirect other requests to that. That would normally be the recommended thing to do.

    Don't worry just wait your website will be indexed in google..... I had similar problem last time.... I did upload sitepam.xml and redirect my site by using 301redirect. so after some time my site will be indexed. so just wait

    Yeah thanks everybody, now my site indexing problem is solved and Google index's it on regularly bases...Google do take some times for new sites to index it properly...it must be fast for Google instant..don't u guys think so..-:)
