site indexed and deindexed in 2 days?

Hello.

Ive encountered a strange problem with my new website.

2 days ago, i did site:www.mysite.com in google and all my pages (6 of them) were indexed (the site is brand new, launched just about 1 week ago).

yesterday, i did site:www.mysite.com again, and only 3 of my pages showed up.

Today, i did site:www.mysite.com again and there were NO results!

has this ever happened to anybody? does anybody know why this could be happening? any advice here?

Yea this is standard... Google has many data centers and with new indexes they get shuffled around and you will see them pop in and out at first.

 

so nothing to worry about?

 

I would continue promotion... some people might say that you dropped into the sandbox and you need to work on your on and off page seo and then it will come back.

It may just be what I first said though and will come back regardless but more promotion can't hurt.

very common, happens all the time with my new sites for the first few weeks. i wouldn't worry about.

 

Keep promoting your site. Your rank will come. When you are promoting your site you will receive traffic from backlinks. Then those backlinks will increase your SERP and increase traffic. So you do loose nothing by promoting your site.

 

Dont worry about this after a few days all your webpages will be indexed and you will get a standard result.
