Hi, my site is about 2 months old. My google ranking for certain keywords change everyday. somedays its 14, and some days its 35. I am not a designer, so my site is very plain. But I have a pretty good CTR. Right now, its at 5.9%. My problem is hits. I hardly get any. I have done the following: -article submission -directory submission -writing in forums -writing in blogs -article in Digg -advertised in stumbleupon, del.ic.ous, and other social networking sites -ads on craigslist -I added a poll and news snippets on the site -Update site weekly The days I do a lot of URL submissions on certain forums, i get more hits but i don't want to spam forums and blogs and get a bad name. My site is about a presidential candidate, so my competition is news sites, who won't do a link exchange. but my content is some of the most Unique on the Internet. especially my Presidential Candidates Comparison Page. What else can i do to get more traffic? Please advice.
your site is only 2 months old and it is very new.....new sites are usually unstable SEO is ongoing....it never stops...never stop building links...never stop writing articles...never stop directory submissions
Sounds like you have a good stratgiey keep up the good work. Like SEO_Ranter said it is on going. Here is a simple analogy. SEO is like making a good bottle of wine. Once you have harvested the grapes they need to ferment. It can take months before you get to bottle and taste the wine.
i think you have made a good link building. google will not allow you to grow so fast. you have to wait for having good rankings
my main keyword is Barack Obama Bio and today i'm number 11. yesterday i was number 35. Thanks for the advice. i'm now working on adding a Digg This tool to my site. does anyone know how to add that? i'm trying to figure it out.
