    Hi guys.

I have an issue im hoping someone can help me.

Im paying $50US for the job.

I have designed a site for a client of our and everything is fine. It works in all browsers but in iPad 2 tiny tiny little lines appear and also a image moves 'slightly' left.

Can some one help me fix this issue.

We haev never had this problem before and we have tried many different things but can't get it to work.

The site a custom design using joolma.

you can see it here (note this link redirects you to the clients URL so it doesnt get indexed by search engnes)

If you want to see screen shots off the error you can also see them here [IMG]

please contact me via email at if you are able to help.

    Thanks heaps

    Danny

Add the background color as a small (maybe 1 pixel) to the image. If that doesn't work, try working with negative margins/paddings in that area.

Also, does this happen just when rendered or when zoomed in?

Hi it happens when you first go to the site on the iPad. But also when you zoom
In you get the lines in other positions.

But I'll try the 1px thing and let you know how it works out

    Thanks heaps

Anyways, play around with background color. I know that is the only problem that might come from the ipad itself. What I said above is usually a Safari problem which can still apply to the Ipad of course.

    Hi.

We got it sort of working.

What we did was the following

Made the image 'slightly' larger with a transparent top. Neg margined.

Only issue is that the top of the site has now changed.

I think it will be easier to re design that whole section.

    any ideas?

    thanks

How has the top changed? I believe in Safari, if you use negative margins on floating elements, you must also apply a relative position to them.
