site hacked, hack back or create another one?

Hi guys, one of very important sites has been hacked, don't want to go into details. I'd only say that the site isn't mine, but it has some importance for many many people.

What would you suggest, try to hack back or create another one and promote, to encourage the people for whom the hacked site was important???

I am waiting for senseful suggestions

    thank you

Your post is very cryptic. If it has been unlawfully hacked, then whoever the owner should be able to work with the webhoster to sort out the issues.

Why would you want to start a new site just because someone has hacked into the existing one?

I wish you all the best whatever your problem may be.

here the case isn't with me or the site owner, but a whole country a whole nation.....

the site can be replaced, but..... there will be more attacks, and I think the best way to protect yourself is to attack

Well just secure it well and always do a monitoring, plus always be mindful of the updates for your webserver applications for any vulnerability.

Fix the website man. When someone hacks your site you fix it. Then you try to bring them to justice if you can.

how can you hack back? when the hacker is probably just some 20 year old kid in his parent's basement, you can't get back at him, anything you do will just be bothering somebody different

    Never "hack back".

Find the problem that made you vulnerable, fix it, revert and/or restore what original data needs to be retrieved, and move on.
