Site for sale thread deleted

I was trying to sell a content site on Lasik today. I had someone bid the BIN price. Someone came in a few minutes later with a bid $30 over the bin. I jokingly asked if anyone else wanted to bid higher including the smiley tongue sticking out emoticon.

I got a private infraction for bumping thread. And then the entire thread was deleted!! I had already arranged to sell the site to the guy that bid the bin, not the other guy that bid $30 higher. Why was the thread deleted? And when a thread is deleted can someone explain why? What did I do wrong? Now I can't get itrader ratings for that sale.

My guess is a mod accidentally deleted your opening post while cleaning up some other off topic posts within the thread. I restored your thread.
