    Hi,

I've just signed up for this now - it sounds great.

I have everything up and running on my website but if I click the "Validate/Calculate Weight Now" button, I get the message:

"Site failed automatic validation as of 2004-11-29 (make sure URL and site type is correct - if everything is correct, make a request in the forum for assistance)."

My site is a regular site, not a forum or blog but I use some php on it for links and random customer testimonials, I think the error may be beacuse my index.html page is a flash intro page with no ads on it, but the ads are placed on every page after this.

Anyway, it told me to ask for help in the forum, so I am doing so.

My username is: JFenlon and my url is http://www.webdesignteam.org if this is needed.

    Regards,

    Jason Fenlon

The ads would need to be on the base URL you register with.

So your saying I should put ads on my intro page too? or can I just update my account to /main.html?

You can do either, although your weight will be higher if you were to put it on the intro page.

Thanks, your right - my weight was much higher once I'd added to the index page.

Is it possible to have 2 different types of ads on 1 site and feel the benefit?

I have just regular text links at the moment, but I was thinking for areas of my site where I have space I might have the other type of ad also. Im sure I could probably do this by renaming the ad_network.php file for the second set of ads and then including that instead of the original one for the extra ads, but would this help my weight at all?

No, the type of ads being run does not affect your weight.
