Is there a general list of what sites to exclude when bidding on the Content Network? I have heard myspace.com converts poorly. Any other suggestions?

    Thanks,

    Jon

depends on what you are marketing, and there is not general exclusion list. Myspace is horrible for some, but gold for others.

Actually, there are exclusion lists out there to prevent your adverts appearing on "made for adsense" junk sites. Thus, hopefully getting more ROI by not wasting money on referring sites that are unlikly to convert.

You can find a free list here http://adsblacklist.com/

But as robertpriolo said, you have to be careful that you don't end up excluding sites that could potentially convert quite well as it's different for every advertiser.

Back to basics in marketing: testing. Only testing could tell which sites bring in targeted traffic. It's hard to do but this is how it works.

I have yet to find anyone convert myspace.com traffic. That's why it costs so little, it's garbage.
