So I opened this text based RPG game on the 8th of July, and it has pulled in over $1,500 so far. How much do you think it is worth? All the money is made from people donating for upgrades, and I don't have any ads on the site. Thanks.
It's worth whatever someone is willing to pay, but it should be in the $10k-$14k range. However, you also have to factor in the time, server / other costs, and a few other factors.
That's for sure. For instance, I wouldn't even consider your revenue in my valuation. It's too limited. Expanding one-month of history to multiple months is foolish. I'd look at the assets involved and operating expenses. I don't start looking at revenue as a valuation source unless there's at least 6 months history. And that's a bare minimum. Of course, someone else will just multiply your one month by 6,9, 12 or something and be willing to pay whatever.
