Hello everyone! I can not find my site when I search for it using our prime keywords. I have done nothing. I have not changed anything or added anything for the last two weeks. It just happened a few hours ago. My competitors are there and some of them are back up pretty strong. What should I do? Obviously, I am very confused and kinda depressed :s I need your expert advice! Thanks
I find this happening alot lately. However, when I check other google datacenters, my keywords are there.
Ok I just checked using an online tool and my site still ranks high in there but it's not showing up when I search here?
Give it a good few days before you panic to much. Three of my sites got a major drop last week. Now they are back at number 1 for there keywords. Its a pain, but not alot you can do.
You might want to give us the URL and keywords, how old your site is. Alternatively, don't panic, this happens all the time.
The thing is that my site is right there on all data centers. I mean I don't get it? It's right there but it's not showing up :S How annoying? I am sorry, I am in a panic mode here cuz this is the first time that such a thing has happened to me (at least on google)
Sometimes that fact that you have done nothing is the problem.. Maybe your competitors are doing something and working hard to boot you out.. Start up a little campaign to get your link out with the anchor of the keyword you wish to get back up to where you had it and see it climb back up. If you ever sit on a highly demanded keyword.. you can kiss it good bye in a matter of time. Its always a struggle, almost a war to stay on top! I guess I really don't know for sure, but I would suppose that they are just refreshing certain dataservers.. For example.. I was talking to a friend online who mentioned that a good keyword was on the first page for him, and when I looked it was still on the second page for me.. What is the keyword and the url.. I can do a quick search and see if I see it where it usually is. _Zack
i thought my site was no. 9. but when i checked http://www.shoemoney.com/serps.php its no. 3 so i guess its different from time to time.
I would give you the keyword and the URL but my partner is not really in the favor (yet). It's just that, I know that some times the results fluctuate but it does not disappear like that and still be called fluctuation. What I can't also comprehend is how can the site not be shown on the main page while the data centers show it ranking high? :s
Hi guys! My site came back and appeard on Google again for a day and now it's not appearing again. I have nooo idea why this is happening. I just checked my site's ranking in different data centers and it's there right there but not showing up when u do the search. Any ideas?
I'm so happy to see I wasn't the only one. I just got dropped for one of my sites for a major keyword too.
That's normal. Sometimes from my statcounter statics, I saw a visitor from google, click the link it will show the visitor came from page 1 of the search results, but can't find my website there. Went to page2 or page3 will find my website. So this means that rankings in google change regularly, sometimes even in hours.
Those are fluctuations when your site's position fluctuates from position A to position D. In my case, I can't even find my site all the way down to page 25. It just disappears!!!
one of my pages was once at number 3 page, but suddenly it went down to page 23. it never recovered since. tskstkstk
