Changing your URL looses the PR but you will probably be back up there with the pr after a few updates and your own dot com is waaaaay better than a blogspot so good move doing it now.
Listen You will not get previous page rank as you have changed your domain name. Google doesn't know that these two sites are same even Google also fails to differentiate between http://cheapdanny.com/ and http://www.cheapdanny.com/ and treat them both as 2 different domains. To gain your previous PR 3 you have to maintain quality and high Page Rank links for your site again.
"cheapdanny.com" is penal. For query "cheapdanny.com" home page is 1 page cheapdanny.com/2009/03/expedia.html ~ 30 positions. Probably has a report, to buy links or spam. Chances are small that are now the domain I recover, send mail through Google Webmaster wools and check the matter. On your site I took the other domain.
