Hello, we have a site http://www.eprothomalo.com/ it is a newspaper website and recently its been down for various ISPs. It doesnt work in some home and office but works in others. We are hosted with mediatemple.net and we called them and they dont know whats wrong with it and we dont know whats wrong with it. Our company is in Bangladesh and from what we thought the problem was only with Bangladeshi ISPs but apparently its in USA too. Some people can view it and some cant. We need this UP ASAP and if someone had similar problem before or have an idea please share.

    Thanks!

Do a traceroute from the locations where it doesn't work, it may just be a mediatemple routing error. It's working fine on my end.

I did traceroute from my computer where the site wasnt working and it says Request Timeout. If its Media Temples routing problem then how can that be fixed? Should I tell them to check that out?

Im thinking the problem is coming from Media Temple's server but they dont think so and i dont know how to explain to them what the problem is.

You should show the entire output of the traceroute command, not just the last line. It's important to see what the last host was that worked and where the * * * starts.

I think this case is common. It's much related to the ISP.Make sure the sever which your website is hosted in supports multichannel.Or this situation will always happen. Maybe you can change another one to host your website.

from my network analysis, your site seems to be fine. all dns servers are getting the same result. None of them are poisoned at the moment. are you sure you still face problems?
