site disappearing from SERPS question

upon recently checking my stats for my site i have detected that since the begining of august i have had an increase in traffic from SE's this month. - upon further inspection of my raw log files i realised that not only was alot more than normal coming from google (i guess i may be finally coming out of the sandbox or something), but also some where coming from yahoo and MSN - much to my delight i realised i must have finally been indexed by yahoo and MSN aswell as google.

however when i came to double check a few of the search terms which i had been found for ( to see exactly what position i was in ) i copied and pasted the code out of my raw log files and into a browser ie:

    http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=fort+myers+condo+rental+florida&hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&start=20&sa=N

i soon discovered that i did not appear in any of these search terms (not on the page which appears- which was results 1 to 10 - or even in the top 100 for that search term) - also not only does this apply to google but also to MSN AND Yahoo aswell!!

so basically i must have been in the serps for these terms when the raw log file state (within the last 3 days) - how come now it seems i have dropped completely out of google, yahoo and MSN for the terms, when 3 days ago i was in the 1st page?

i have heard of this for one engine - but not for three at a time?

the thing is when in the past i have copied the url thingy from my raw log files - it points to the exact page (results 1 - 10 or results 11-20 etc) and exact search criteria ( ie whether it is from google .com or .co.uk and whether it is from a UK only search or a whole web search) -
all the search strings in the log file point back to full web searchs (not uk) and the 1-10 results page for each search phrase and - this is not only for google but yahoo and MSN aswell -
i would very much expect to shift maybe a page or 2 down (or up) but i seem to have slipped many many pages - i cannot see my site at all in the first 10 pages on any engine.

ok i was going to post this next thing as a seperate thread - but i feel i may aswell post it here - now i think this kind of explains why i cannot find my site in google - but it doesn't explain msn or yahoo - and also doesn't explain why i did get a refferal just days ago from google on a search term from my index page ..... if anyone has the brains the time and the patience to read all these things and give me some kind of an answer to any of my questions - i'd greatly appreciate it thanks! -

this was what i was going to put

    "
since my clients site went live in april - i have not had much success with rankings - partly i subscribe this to the sandbox effect.
i have a link campaign underway and quite often check my rankings "manually" (as opposed to keyword tracker) - until late july i was ranking around the 300 mark for my main keyword - on my index page.
around the 1st of august this happend ,: i checked for my index pages keywords and my site was nowhere to be found and 2: whilst checking the top ten for the keyword phrase i noticed what appeared to be my page - thinking hoorah - my work has finally payed off - i found it hard to believe i had shot from 300 to within the top ten in a matter of days. then i realised what had happened - upon closer inspection of the results i noticed that although the title, and blurb was from my site the URL was not my site at all - rather it was one of the sites which i had a reciprocal link with - The full url includes a cgi "address", therfore i can only conclude that it is some kind of redirect they have used when putting my link up.
now when i click on the link it sends you to my site - VIA their site (their address flashes up in the status bar).
the thing is - i not quite sure what to do - whilst things are like this i am kind of ranking quite highly for my index pages keywords and people are more likely to find my site,- but as far as i can tell any further seo effort (off page) will not effect the rankings of this. the thing is while it is like this i can't tell how my page would be ranking "normally" - as it seems to have been removed by googles duplicate filter.
i kind of want my normal page back in the rankings as feel it may have increased in ranking since i last saw it - but the thing is if i do sort this out - i might still be at 300.
can anyone give any advice - should i just leave it as it is and "reap the reward" so to speak - or is this maybe having a detrimental effect on other things?"

sorry about this - but if anyones read the above - is it going to show in my raw logs as a google referral or a referal from the site in question if someone clicks on the duplicate site in googles serps?

(i wasn't going to show the site in question but i'm getting very confused about all this - so here is a link to the serps with the site in:

    http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=fort+myers+condo+rental+florida&hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&start=30&sa=N

the title is: fort myers apartment/condo rental "sanibel view")
