Site disappeared from google after server downtime! Help!

Ok so one of my hosting companies suspended an account of mine, and my biggest earning site was offline for just over a day. Now the whole site has disappeared from google - no results, no spidered pages.

http://www.iwebtool.com/google_banned says the site may be banned as there are no results.

Would google really ban me for that downtime, or will it be spidered again in due course?

    Help!!:( :( :(

Hard to believe that google would ban you for a days downtime. The de-indexing may just be temporary. I have seen sites dissappear from google (for certain search phrases) only to return a day later... ok, sometimes it takes a bit longer than that.

I think it should be back after a few days if the site stays up - maybe point another few links to it too

give it about a week and it will be alright.
Never saw a website getting the ban only for being down.

Or did you do something really, really stupid? ;)

Nope, nothing stupid done. I literally hadn't changed the site for weeks before this, so hopefully it will all be ok. I will really miss the cash if it stays gone.

A lesson learned though, go with hosting that has good custimer service and good uptime...

Ok its a week tomorrow and the site hasnt returned to its pevious position, although google now does return results when searching for the url.

I enabled sitemaps, added a few links from 3rd party sites etc and updated the content. Webmaster tools show that G hasnt spidered since the day the listing dropped out of the results.

I'm now pretty much resigned to losing $30 a day revenue for good :(

    Any ideas?

Well I suppose you should wait for google to index those sites that you have linking to you. It will take some time, but that revenue should return.
