Could some one explain this please

    site:www.swapshop.co.nz from www.google.co.nz returns Results 1 - 10 of about 563

    site:www.swapshop.co.nz from 72.14.203.104 returns Results 1 - 10 of about 17,400

We know of the data centres but dont really understand why the huge diff?

72.14.203.104, 72.14.207.99 & 72.14.207.104 these datacenters seems to be the fastest in indexing and displaying rankings according to my observation. The rankings and indexing on these DC's slowly start showing up on other DC's after a period of time. This might be due to the fact that the bots from these DC's are better and optimizied crawlers.

Yes you seem to be right on the mark

    72.14.203.104, 72.14.207.99 & 72.14.207.104 all show 17,400 and google.com but our local google.co.nz is behind.

A while back we triggered googles duplicate filter and went from 38,400 to 540 so after adjusting the dupes hopefully we will be on the way back up.

    Yah!

I like this web tool http://yourcache.com
to check the amount of pages
indexed for each of Google data centers.

It saves the history of previous runs
