    Hi
I have heard that DMOZ wants that sites which are completed. My question is that , you may need to update your site after some times after submitting the site to DMOZ. Does it have any effects on the site? Are blogs can be submitted to DMOZ?

Keeping your site updated is a bonus. It would be silly to think that updating it would get you removed from the directory there.

Though, with that being said, there are a few changes which can get you removed...

    • Turning the site into an MFA
    • Selling the site (even with no content change! 0_O)
    • A comeplete revamp of the site making it no longer suitable to the category, and/or the ODP guidelines

There are likely more reasons, but so long as the site remains unique, follows the guidelines, and still fits within the given category, I say change it all you want.

We expect websites to evolve over time. It would be a poor site that didn't.

Like any other surfer though, we dislike pages that consist of under construction notices and broken internal links. Too many of those and the website is unlikely to be listed.

Yes we list blogs - if they have useful and unique content. Focused blogs are more noteworthy than general musings about anything that randomly takes the owners fancy.

If there is clear evidence that a site is actually being updated and for the present that makes it unusable, I will add it to our unreviewed list and someone will take another look later on, if its back and working then it will be relisted, but if that seems to go on interminably then it will just get deleted and will have to be either found again or submitted again.
