Site: command for google

I did a quick search for this but I couldn't find any other posts.

What has happened to the site: command for google to find out how many pages are indexed for a site?

It doesn't seem to work anymore.

Does anyone know anything about this?

Works for me here in Canada. You do have to add the url after the colon correct?

    It works in Google.com

The results are different for other TLDs.

You should try selecting different TLD and try again.

Hello 'site' command working properly, I think u searched in a different format or for a non existing domain. the format should be site:domain.com

It doesn't work any way. Also the tools that you can get on websites to do it for you don't work.

Works for me, although to be fair its not acurate as google webmaster tools say I have more pages than that indexed.

Using site:www.domain.com it only comes up with 763 results but in webmaster tools says I have 1,576 URLs in web index from site map submission page.

It does work, you're not using it right. I'll literally use an example of one of my sites:

    Ok, the site it http://internetmarketing-fornewbies.com/
Now when I go to Google, I search for: "site:internetmarketing-fornewbies.com"
And that's it. Nothing else. At all. Just that. And it works.
