How can I tell if my site/ip has been blocked by the coop, I ad a problem for a day where my ad_network_ads.txt file became corrupt on my asp site and now when I upload a clean fresh file with permission it does not seem to be saving any info to it, just wondered if after the problem that maybe my site was blocked for not caching ads,

    Thanks

It has been unblocked... I still think it would be a better idea if the ASP version checked the file for writability before it makes a request for a new ad (like the PHP version does).

Thank you very much for that, I think I will have to find an asp coder as I am sure you could do without this hassle.

It seem the same thing has happened again, can you tell me why the site gets blocked?
You said, "The ASP version needs to check the text file for writability first before requesting a new ad" so is that what essentially the problem is that then results in the site being blocked.

Just so that I can see about getting someone to re-code this better.

My text file is in the cgi-bin on the windows server so it has the full permissions set by default and again has worked for the last week.

I don't know if that's what the problem is, but that would be my best guess. The PHP version will not even make a request to the ad server until AFTER it confirms the cache file is writable.

Thanks, could you tell me one last thing - what is actually happening that makes my site get blocked.

Is it that the text file should cache the ads and is not doing this so somehow causing an error when requesting ads from the DP server.

Just so I can go and explain this as much as possible to someone to look into it for me,
    Sorry for the problems..

The system automatically blocks the IP if it makes too many requests to the ad network server to quickly. If your setup is working properly, it should request no more then 1 new ad every 15 minutes.

I would like to find out if my site is blocked, and if you would please unblock it.
What would even be better to see if a tool to see IF a site (actually IP since many people run multiple sites on an IP) is blocked or not. I am sure this would save a lot of hassle of people trying to find out.
