Site became inactive after sometime starting Apache.

    Site became inactive after sometime starting Apache but Apache keep on running then to get my site back i have to restart httpd again .

    Please tell what could be reason for that ,
    some detail abt my VPS server

    Apache = 2.2.3

    OS = Linux (centos)

    Too many connections probably. Are you running proxies? You need to spend some time looking over logs and finding the cause WHILE apache is running. Check tcpdump and save the output then read the over for anything unusual. Check all your configs and sysctl's too. You may need to optimize. Check the apache error logs too.

    i cheked apache error log but nothin there unusal , tcpdump , sysctil where to look for them ??
