hey everyone, I think one of my sites has been banned, and the only real reason I can think of why it would get banned would be by gaining some 40k+ backlinks in the space of a month (which goes against the whole can't get banned for backlinks). The site is very new (only a couple months old), and content is a little thin (i was going to start updating it later, but wanted to get it up and indexed sooner). site:www.url.com produces nothing, and searching for domain also shows no results. Now, there's nothing wrong with the site, in fact it validates xhtml 1.0 strict, so a lot of care has been taken to make sure it looks good, and has clean code. You're probably wondering how I managed 40k+ backlinks in a short time, and can assume it must have triggered a spam penalty somewhere. All I did was release a free template for wordpress (with a link in the footer), and it seems people have been downloading it and using it. A couple problems I've noticed though... Wordpress users change blog templates as often as they change underwear. This would mean a potential 100-500 pages with a link to my site appeared, and then disappeared the next few days. multiply that by 200 users, and it'll look bad. Spammers tend to use wordpress with custom templates to spam anything from porn to lyrics of popular songs. That can't look good. I'm gonna wait it out to see if it comes back (it's only new so doesn't get much traffic at all). I'll eventually add a google sitemap, and if it's still gone in a few weeks, I'll see if there's anyway to contact google to explain what I think might have happened. Anyone else had similar issues and had the site reincluded? Did it require a reinclusion request, or did it just come back by itself? My fingers are crossed it'll come back by itself. Thanks
Right now Google is acting weird and lot of problems with our websites though none of them is completely gone. I would say watch the forums and when things stabilize if you still don't return then maybe there is a ban.
i think Google has Changed their "Algorithms " or may be Google has lost his "Glasses" thats why it don't know where to do what
