Site banned from Google?

    I have a former PR4 domain that I ran a proxy on for a while. After getting some abusive traffic, I took down the proxy and left it parked. Several months later yesterday, I set up a blog on it.

    Normally my new sites are indexed in a matter of hours, but for some odd reason it has been 24 hours and I am still not indexed, even after getting some good backlinks to the site that I know are indexed quickly. Is is possible my site has been banned from Google, or am I expecting too much from Google?

    Most probably your domain has been banned by google, because your site is completely de-indexed.

    Just wait a couple of days, then submit your site to be re-considered in the SE.

    24 hours is simply not enough to say that. Wait for 2-3-4 days... at least. There is no need to worry just yet.

    How long ago did you have another site on that domain, if the domain has been down for quite some time your domain might have been naturally de-indexed because it didn't have any content.

    24 hours is definitely not enough time to make this judgement, wait a couple of days first then if it still has not been indexed then perhaps contemplate that it may of been banned.

    The site is still not indexed. As a test, I submitted one of its pages to Digg. Normally things on Digg are indexed in a matter of minutes. A day later, the page I submitted hasn't been touched by Google. As a control, I submitted a page from another new blog of mine. It was indexed instantly. I think my domain is banned.

    I think your website is using some dupe content, i do not believe it is banned, use Google webmaster tools to submit website for reinclusion, also be sure that your webhost show uptime during the weekend.

    i would like to suggest you to submit your xml site map at Google webmaster tool. it will help you to evaluate if any error is there from your side.

    buddy ur site is not banned well in yahoo its indexed already
    though with other tools it shows as banned.

    U need to wait for a week. Meantime submit ur site to few articles and social bookmarking sites.

    In google it will take some time
    I think u used a redirect 301 ? do check for this
