I am getting a new design to my website www.koleabeachvillas.com. I was wondering what anyone would recommend me changing as far as the architecture goes to maximize my SEO on page. Any feedback would be appreciated.

your question is too broad to be answered. but follow these points:
    1) use h1 for main heading but only once on every page
    2) use h2 for sub headings
    3) use alt for all the images
    4) use keyword rich title for links
    5) use meaningful page title and description for each page
    6) use text links as far as possible
    7) use HTML sitemap
    8) upload XML sitemap as well as a robots.txt file
    9) do use breadcrumbs
    10) do not go for more than 3 deep link architecture. 2 is the best
    11) do have a physical address on contact page and privacy policy page
    12) bold your keywords on the pages but don't overuse them
    13) most importantly, build a site theme
    14) stick to one of the following - either www.xyz.com or xyz.com
    15) link the logo of you website to the Home Page on every page of the website
    16) if you are using php or asp to build the website then use headers and footers to make the maintenance of your website easy.

Sorry to say... But your website design is NOT SO GOOD.
Try to make your font a little bit smaller; arrange your navigation properly, make some button for it.

Yeah, I don't care for the design of the site that much. That is why I am getting a new design. It is going to be really nice. Sorry if I was not more specific on what I was looking for. What I am trying to figure out if there is a better way for me to set up the navigation or layout in order to optimize it for SEO. I am going to redo the keywords, header tags, etc. I was focused more towards what I should have on the Nav bar, if I should link some of the sub pages (ie. koleabeachvillas.com/kolea_8c.aspx) from the home page directly, etc. Thanks again.

Make your navigation links the keyword phrases you are wishing to target.
