Site Appraisal Please - LookForav

I just finished working on LookForav, my best website.

The story behind the domain name is it says look for audio & videos. It allows people to search for music and download YouTube videos.

I also installed a directory into it since this site is PR3, but I need a directory structure to import hehe.

So what do you guys think of the site?

 

I don't mean to be overly critical, but it's a bit confusing. Looks like a jumble of a bunch of different themes.

 

Really? What do you mean by a jumble of themes? Are you saying I should make the sections of the site resemble the baby blue theme of the home page?

 

yes..your site should look consistent. that way it looks so much more professional

 

True. The home page has a different theme than the audio and video sections. You should use one consistent look & feel (colors, navigation placement, etc.) throughout each section. Otherwise it's confusing to visitors, because it looks like they are going to a different site each time they move to a new section.

 

The first thing I would do is to change the font color. You almost can't see the baby blue type.

 

Yes.. font style and font color.. there is no consistency.. Check Your PageRank! having different look then the header and footer and download MP3 , Download video giving more look like banners of ohter sites...

The pale blue caption text on the white background is too hard to read.
