site appears/disappears in Google

    I have a blog that ranks well in Google for certain keywords and it has ranked for 2 weeks then disappeared for a week, then came back for a week and has now gone as well. The blog consists of just one post.

    Is there an attribute in blogs where they should constantly be updated?

    Has anyone had any similar problems?

    same thing happenin to my site which is about 9 months old. keeps going from 1k uniques per day to 4k back to 1k lol.
