    Hi guys,
I am not a SEO expert but learning a lot by following advice on this forum. So far I have done quite well and my site ranked between #1-5 in Google for my main search term which is also the product I am selling “Noni Juice”.
Over the last few months my site started to loose rankings in Google and my site is now down to #16 in Google. I am at the end of my knowledge and thought I get some advice form you guys on what might be the problem with my site.
    The site is at www.noninz.com
Up and running for over 6 years
Never sold or bought any links
Used to do link exchange but stopped a few weeks ago. Now offering instead to be listed in my health directory with optional/not required reciprocal link.
    Several press releases posted
Several health related articles posted and distributed
Health news section on front page which changes daily which is done manually – not RSS
Health discussion forum started several month’s ago which unfortunately is dead. Had some paid forum posters but did not make any difference.
Google sitemaps active which I monitor daily to fix any errors Google might have found.

Well, that's it. I have no idea what might have gown wrong and would be grateful for any advice you might have.

    Thanks for your help!

If the keyword you are targeting is 'noni juice' change your h1 tag to enclose just "noni juice" and not the whole "Noni Juice - fresh, organic and undiluted from the Cook Islands" phrase. That will give you some advantage for 'noni juice' on its own - right now you're #2 on Google for that entire phrase, which of course, noone is going to search for.

Along the same lines of riotz suggestion, it appears that you're using H2 tags to emphasize the irrelevant headings in your health news section. I'd remove those and reorganize your site to emphasize the more relevant keypoints.

As an example, you would obviously have the H1 as "Noni Juice", but H2 topics could be "What is Noni Juice?", "Noni Juice History," "Noni Juice Health Benefits," etc., even if they are simply menu items linking to your other pages.

Also, you could use redo the layout of the site and use DIVs to place your main content at the beginning of the page when spiders read it instead of having your navigation menu to the left read first.

That's all I came up with at a quick glance, but one more thing: I noticed you're using Google ads on the site. Are these producing a reasonable amount of income, or would it maybe be worthwhile as far as sales are concerned to remove them entirely? It appears that you're advertising competitors' sites which I would assume might lead to your site losing sales.

    Hi maks,
Thanks for your time and advice.
Will start working on the H2 tags shortly. I just started displaying the health news a few days ago and simply copied the head lines form the BBC website and by the look of it including the H2 tags.
Google ads produced a good income while I was ranked higher. Yes, a few ads are showing competitors which I don’t have a problem with since they are mostly MLM schemes and customers in general are coming back to my site. I know this from e-mails I am receiving from customers.
    Thanks again for your help!

In my opinion, this site is a typical example of a site sitting just on the edge. It's teetering back and forth between exploding upwards or downward in the serps.

There aren't really any large issues with the site... just smaller ones that need refinement over say a 3-4 month period of time. Too many changes too fast and the serp "seo flag" pops up like a bobber used when ice fishing.

IMO, the single largest issue holding back this site are the neighborhoods who link to you and whom you link out to.

Reading your comment about linking I did a link:www.domain.com search on Google. I can see what you mean. Many of the results are completely unrelated but I am not linking to them at all nor do most of these sites link to me.
Don’t know how Google comes up with these results.
