Site 4 sale---Or NOT ?

Hi Friends,

I see a domain name on "whois" with the following info. This information has been reflected for about 2 wks now whois.

• -Updated Date: 07-aug-2015
• -Creation Date: 08-dec-2008
• -Expiration Date: 01-dec-2015

Question (s)
1-if it was updated in Aug 2015, then why is this information showing expiration of Dec 2015?
2-Does anyone think this site will be available in Dec 2015---if so why?

if address or most contact info was changed it would generate new update info, also if price info changed it would show that too,,, so whats the problem?

If the domain expires dec 2015 it will not be available If the owner decides to renew it...he has priority in this

 

Thanks Jedi....looks like a re-seller has this name.
They've had it for years...BUT, BUT , BUT...it doesn't explain "Why" if it was renewed in August, why is it showing "expiring in Dec 15?"

the site is expiring in dec 15 .. if he decide to renew it you won't get it ... the update is just for changes he make

 

It wasn't renewed in August, but updated. For example, whois amendment or pushed to someone else.
