What is better for keywords and title, words in singular or plural? Will Google find with a search of 'samui villa' also 'samui villas' in kw and title? Or the other way around, does google see also 'samui villas', when searched for 'samui villa'?? Does it weight heavier to have the exact phrase? Does it make sense to both (singular and plural) in title, description or KW's?? Thansk for your help.
I myself am not an IM expert. BUT... With no one answering you in this thread I would revert to split testing and see wich keyword will pull the better results. just my two cents. "takes a little longer, but you'll get your answer. Hope this helps. Jimbo
Hey peter, typically plurals are classed as seperate words by google. As it is difficult for it to determine what is a plural. e.g. Glass vs Glasses Due to it treating plurals as a seperate keyword, you need to review each one as a seperate keyword, They will have different search volumes and competition. If you think of plurals as seperate keywords it will help.
Danjensen, I understand the example with the glass/es. But in my case it would be 'samui villas' (with 540 monthly searches) and 'samui villa' (with 440 monthly searches, which I would like to get also!!). But it would look strange when placing both keywords in the title and in the description. Any suggestions or other ideas??
