Do you think that people should have to beat a single player mode in a game to access the online features?

I mean even on games such as Halo, Gears of War, and Call of Duty online there are people that just don't understand the game.

I believe that there should be at least a tutorial that must be completed before a user can play that game online.

    What do you think?

I don't think it should be made a requirement. Players should have the option to choose if they want to play solo or online. After all they bought the game with their hard earned money.

    It shouldn't be a requirement.
Interacting with other players makes the game fun.

I don't really think its necessary.
You can learn more by seeing people play. Imitate their skills, make it better according to your preference and hopefully come up with new ideas to "pwn" the competition.

I think yes, it gives people time to learn the basics. Plus people can still play that don't have an internet connection.

I don't think it's neccessary but playing online with more friends could help you finish each stage faster (just be careful not to attack by the other groups though)

I still believe there should be a short session that people have to complete before playing online. I just think it's annoying when you have people asking you how to do things and what buttons to push when you are in the middle of an online game.

I mean its funny when you are playing against unskilled players sometimes, but it eventually gets old... and its much much worse when you have these people on your team and end up with 2 kills and 18 deaths.

While sometimes newbies can be annoying in online games... they can be fun too - another easy kill :)

Yeah its an easy kill, but for the people on the other team who are actually good and know what they are doing, its completely annoying. Exactly why I believe that people should have to complete the first player mode before moving on to online mode and ruining other people's experience online.
