Single Pages Bad For SEO?

    Search engines like larger sites. The more pages the better and if you use anchor text links for your site navigation the can behave like backlinks to your most important pages. Then the more pages you add to your site, the more text content and the more links your important pages get.

    Too many keywords on a page, which may happen if you've condensed several pages into one, can set off warning bells at the search engines but it depends on what is common for the niche. Compare your page length and keyword density to others that rank well for your key terms.

    Adding pages for contact, about us, etc is another tiny indicator to the level of quality to the engines.
