Which type of games do you prefer? Would you rather play with a few other people or would you rather have the entire game to yourself? I feel that both are really fun, depending on what type of mood you are in.
I could play both but if a game that cost $60 that's focused too much online, incomplete and has crap load of paid DLC and microtransactions, I ain't buying it.
It depends on the mood But these days Multiplayer all the ways on the PS4 For honor Overwatch Ghost Recon Wildlans Titan Fall2 PC: Heroes of the storm (only because you get exclusive skins and loot for overwatch since it's a blizzard game)
Horror games should have improved co-op features. One game that looks and plays peachy is The Last of Us, yet the only 2 player mode is a battle mode not relevant to the main story. There's a sequel due out next year, but it probably also ain't going to include proper co-op. Obscure on the PS2 is a fantastic and underrated horror game set in a school, where you could play a Resident Evil sort of adventure with multiple characters. However, RE 5, 6 and all that were not that scary at all. They were great action games, but hugely awkward, and they alienated a lot of the loyal fans of the older games like the remake, and RE 2 is also gonna get a remake soon. RE 4 was really what got the ball rolling with the decline in horrific video games. RE: Revelations 2 however was a step in the right direction, because only one player (besides some of the DLC stuff with that old guy helping Moira Burton), even used a firearm. The other person mainly uses bricks, a flashlight, or a crowbar. And you didn't feel like you were like Rambo either, even when you had a shotgun, so it was a cool game in that it kind of attempted to be real survival horror again. I'm not terribly keen on first person shoot fest games either. They're not typically atmospheric enough. Nor do they have a proper story. Horror games should be creepy and you should feel overwhelmed from a lack of supplies. The Silent Hill franchise got it right, but I think Silent Hill is dead for good, as Konami just don't give a flying sack of mega turds about their fans.
To answer Your question i could say, Mainly multiplayer games, because most of the time we play with friends, games like Titanfall 2 and GTA 5 has awesome singleplayer, but even better multiplayer. But there are games like Doom, Wolfenstein, etc, that has poor or even doesnt have multiplayer, after completing games like this there is nothing more to do.
Metal Gear Strike looks somewhat interesting. I also like the look of State of Decay 2. However, I don't know if I could really class them as being absolutely standard survival horror. It seems the whole point of these games is to collect things and build a base with other soldiers, so there may be a lack of environments and enemies. I'd assume that players would have to venture away from this safe zone, but not go too far, to gather up stuff hundreds of times. It does sound a bit cool, but it also seems that this could get old fast.
Mostly single. But I do love playing CS:GO, I don't play it all that often, but when I do it helps me relax. 1 hour after work and you're in a different mood. Also thinking about picking up a console to play some local multiplayer games with friends. Will probably go with Nintendo Switch, they have the most fun local MP games IMO.
I prefer single player games simply because I don't need to deal with hackers. I do play multiplayer from time to time depending on my mood.
I do sometimes play single player games, but I prefer multiplayer. Multiplayer gives more fun especially if you have a pack of friends to play together! We love to play some strategy games like AoE or Rise of nations(I will never get bored of this game).
You're right, it definitely depends on the mood. I mostly play single player games, but when the mood is right, multiplayer is the way to go! (Who can't help but love Mario Party?)
