As a content and copywriter I am always on the lookout for new clients and new ways to raise my profit margins. And, of course, like any writer can tell you, clients come in waves. It seems like I'll be crazy busy for a couple of months and then hit a wall and can't find clients to save my life. I'm not afraid to admit that I am not the greatest marketer. I have a tendency to get tunnel visioned and "I'll work on my marketing later" when the work is flowing nicely. So my question to you marketing experts out there is this: what is your favorite method of jump starting your businesses when you find yourselves in a slump? What is your favorite way to get the word out without running around, waving your arms and saying "hey you people, hire me!" Not that I'm opposed to that per se.... Thoughts? Advice? Insight? I can't be the only one wondering this...
I prefer viral marketing method such as giving away freebies and let other people share my stuff. Of cause, you need to be creative in your viral product to let other people buzz about you.
article marketing and press release is a good way for some one like yourself to get clients but for me, two biggest marketing methods i use are ezine solo ads and articles
