Since I started Adwords

I was looking through my reports on adwords. I was curious to see how much I've spent total on my campaigns. I've been using adwords trial and error for a 1 year now. Funny - I spent $14K how much did I make? ZIPPO!

Has this happened to anyone... I know $14K is peanuts for most but $14K is 1 third of my ebay profits... I could have reinvested this cash:mad:

A perfect example of why someone should hire a marketing professional to help them with marketing.

Your method is akin to the Airforce allowing me to fly fighter jets with no training.....

Imagine how many jets I would crash :D

Nope $14k is not peanuts in fact its a good amount for a Harley slightly used or a super compact car.....

I would think the conversion tracking thing was missed....otherwise the spend should not have been over $500.00

Hes not the only one in that boat...I have clients who lost in excess of $100,000.00 before they thought to hire an SEM and only then was the conversion code installed after my insisting.... before taking on the client.

In fact it because of this that I have now changed Google Adwords to

Google Casino -- Play if you dare!!!!

    :D

Have I misunderstood you or something? Are you saying that you have spent $14,000 and haven't made a single sale? Or, are you saying that you've made sales but no profit?

You're doing something wrong. After $14k you should have some success if you're testing and tracking correctly.

Well I started pushin' traffic for dating reviews... That was expensive... Then ebay then a bunch of other sites... it added up real quick.

Now I have .04 cents a click on content for one of my Mixed Martial Arts Sites.. I guess I break even with adsense/adwords but I also get a lot of ebay clicks from it... $7 buck (whoopty do)

I guess I'm in a mad rush to make cash... Hell it took my brother 6 years before he made his millions on his dating sites. I wouldn't have sold my sites like he did but money talks... right?

To me thats a fair amount of money, i guess for future spending it will be a good idea for you to keep tabs on it to see if it brings returns if you spend like that in the future, at least you can stop if you see something wrong then.

Sorry to hear about that btw.
