I'm thinking of selling my Simpsons Movie fan site to kick start a new project I want to work on

It has a PR3 and is listed in Yahoo Directory (for free), Yahoo Movies and is also DMOZ listed, all for the category Simpsons Movie

Google ranking wise, we're climbing the ladder! Jumped from 13th page to 2nd page for the term: The Simpsons Movie just two weeks ago, with some SEO it could definiatly make 1st page especially with the domain

Gets a lot of traffic from Yahoo Movies, Google and direct tpye in traffic.

At the moment its about 100 unique hits a day (about 300 to 400 page views a day)

Just yesterday I launched a new forum to replace the old one but I'm still playaround with it, its an invision board.

I've got some adsense ads up, and they generate between 0.00 and $2 a day depending on the day!

Maybe someone could do better?

The layout is nice (flash components) and I have two admins for the forum but they aren't set up on the new board yet

I have a private reserve in case people make rediculas bids that no one would sell for

my last deal fell through and I never ended up selling the site but now the site is earning between $4 and $5 a day in Adsense and is still climbing the search engines, currently on page 2 for the terms: Simpsons Movie and The Simpsons Movie

a high ranking site for any movie these days is always good down the track and long term...

Where did the $450 bid come from? Is the design unique and graphics?

 

as to your previous comment about movie sequel.

The Simpsons always spoke of the movie being the END to the project.

There may be a movie in years to come, but i wouldnt count on 1 in the next 5 years at least.

ultimately, regardless about the future of the movie, the site itself is doing really well and since the movie has been out for about a week, my traffic and adsense is only increasing, not decreasing

I am simply looking to see if anyone would like to own the site, if not I'll just keep it running
