After the conflict, the Simpsons will continue for two more seasons

"We have renewed The Simpsons for some incredible seasons 24 and 25,” Fox told. They had to make significant cuts in wages for agreement"

Fox, a unit of News Corp, had warned this week that he could no longer afford the production of the popular series without cutting actors’ salaries by 45%.
Those accepting the consequent reduction but with a share of profits.
As neither party wanted to give, the dispute had threatened to end the comedy aboutfamily life in Springfield.
    .
The Simpsons premiered in 1989 and helped put the fledgling station as a major factor in the television industry. It is now broadcast in over 100 countries and 50 languages

Very good news, I thought they used a very small group of people for the characters voices. I'm sure the designers should be getting the best pay.

The Simpsons are immortal. They've all been the same age for over 20 years now. I don't know how Matt Groening has managed to pull that off but he has. I would have thought that going that route would have made the show stale by now but people still watch. I guess people really enjoy it so much that they don't care that the characters never age and that Bart and Lisa are still in school 20 years later and Mr. Burns is still alive. I'm sure a lot of other animated shows wish they could figure out how to pull off what the Simpsons has been able to. The only show that seems to have come close is South Park.

Now I'm really glad for the Simpsons back!
To tell the truth I was thinking that cartoon will be closed for ever, but due to miracle we have an opportunity to watch it again and again!:)
