I saw it. I found it to be rather stupid. Anyone who likes the Simpsons will like it. I personally hate the entire idea of the Simpsons.
I saw it twice. The second time I was forced to go. I thought it was so-so. I'd give it a 5 out of 10. I would not go see it a third time. The writing was typical of recent Simpsons episodes, lacking the wit of the "classics," of which my favorites were seasons 7 and 8. I wish there had been more references to past episodes; it was almost as if the Simpsons were living in a different world than the one they're in on the TV show. One reference I did like was the ambulance still smashed into that tree on top of Springfield Gorge, a reference to an episode that aired a good 15 years ago. If there had been more stuff like that it would have been a much better movie. Also, due to the different animation techniques used in the movie, everything in Springfield seems a little darker, which I didn't really like.
I saw it at the weekend. It was very funny in parts but it did seem strange watching it in the cinema. Imagine watching an episode of a soap opera/drama in a cinema. It felt like that. Quite short too. I didn't even finish my popcorn and drink.
yeah went last week and was pretty good. My bro however who is a die hard simpsons fan didn't enjoy it as much and said it was much the same as any other episode just longer.
I went last night was okay, came away slightly dissapointed. If your a fan though you have got to watch it
I watched it and wasn't satisfied... It's so-so. Nothing big about it... just like watching the simpson's on tv only in a bigger screen and with pay. I like ratatouille so much more.
