I am looking for a theme for my new WordPress blog. This is for a very simple blog (not a site). It will not be picture heavy and will mostly consist of a menu for organizing posts and the posts themselves. I just want a good looking free theme that is very simple (and not a piece of junk). I found that every theme I have attempted using the WordPress theme search my selection doesn't have enough options to make it feel like my site. I think their search lacks a crappy theme filter. So I want to know what your favorite go-to WordPress theme is. Think the Honda Civic of free blog themes.
I ended up going with an option that I found on this site: "http://themehybrid.com/themes" They have several free simple blog themes if anyone else is looking.
