Simple way to combat click bombers

I think this is a simple way to combat click bombers, but never see this suggested in here.

If you see your site has been the target of some click bombers on a daily basis, send a report to Google and deactivate the Adsense on that site.

I don't mean removing Adsense, just remove the URL from your allowed list.

The click bomber doesn't know it though.

Then try to track him/her down with some software.

Any software that is good for this though? What do you guys use? Suggest good ones.

Send all the reports to Google. Also, Google can still monitor who is click bombing you because the Adsense ads are still on your site, but they are not telling you though.

It is likely the persons doing this will get banned from Adsense themselves or else denied Adsense entry in future. I think Google knows how to punish click bombers.

If they keep doing it they will build a profile of themselves, because I think Google technology is able to build a blueprint of your movements even if you use proxies. They are getting better and better at this, I think.

Correct me if I'm wrong on anything. Thanks.

www.asrep.com will tell you the IP of the person clicking the ads, and also how they came to your site (direct or web request http://)

Great way to protect ourselves and informative post!

Many click monitors out there which I think would help a lot in this.
