I'm still a n00b affiliate with just a handful of campaigns and I don't get nearly that many impressions on the profitable stuff. PM me your list of long tail keywords and I'll give it a shot.
Keyword in the title The add it to the end of description one keyword keyword should be in the begining of desription line 2 The above is pointing > using blods for the keywords Shoe says is the arrow the makes a higher CTR I say its just 3 bolds in a text ad that is increasing the CTR
I don't think that a simple arrow will increase CTR significantly. robertpriolo's version is more realistic
everything that comes out of shoes mouth is not holy testimony. While I believe the method will bring in a higher CTR, I strongly dis believe it is due the the "arrow"
This thread is what it's all about. Just mentioning "the mans" name builds his site. Get a thread going.... that's the mantra. I do like his stuff though.
I am using the AdWords editor and am not clear how to manually make bold text. According to google: "* Taking advantage of the ad bolding feature is the only way for your ad text to appear in bold. You can't manually create bold, italicized, underlined, or any other kind of formatted ad text. * All parts of your ad have the potential to appear in bold, including the title, body, and display URL. * The ad bolding feature applies to Google search result pages and some sites and products in the Google Network." So just using the keyword in the ad is how you do it? How about for the second line where the keyword goes at the end? Like this?: Blah Blah {keyword:} ??? EDIT: Never mind, a little more research found my answer: "To use keyword insertion, insert the following code at any point in your ad text, including in the display URL or destination URL: {keyword:default text} When your ad appears on a search result page, the code will be replaced by the keyword that triggered the ad. If the keyword is too long, and would cause the ad text to exceed its character limit, the ad's default text will be used instead. "
