Simple thesis theme question

    I have disabled comments on all pages of my blog and not the posts, it just looks cleaner that way. I have created a certain (start here) page which needs to have the comment function, how could i do this simply?

    Check the Allow Comments option on the selected page from screen options.

    Yup ticked that but it still isn't showing up, i have removed the sidebars on this page. If that helps.
