Simple Tax Issue

    I signed up with Google Adsense today :p

    I don't really understand the tax form I have to fill in. All I own is a image hosting website. Does that mean I just press no - no and don't have to fill any specific tax forms becuase I don't own a business nor am I a US citizan :)

    urmm my site is hosted with Dream Host, that is in the US. Does that matter?

    If the only activity you have in the US is your hosting site then you don't need to have an US tax ID number. However, if you have substantianl activity in the US, like having an office, one or more employee, etc... then you are considered to have activity in the US and requires a tax ID.

    Check with your tax accountant, but sounds like you don't need to fill in any tax info.
