How about putting a stickied poll in Forum Management section - Which forum software do YOU recommend most? After browsing for a few days, I see this question asked frequently, and the responses are relegated to 2 day recent answers, perhaps from 5-10 members. With a stickied poll, the answer could be composed of hundreds of answers, yielding a more accurate answer.
Because no one would read it anyway... most of the threads posted here ... answers can be found in the sticky's above but they still post. jmho Lisa
just look at all the "i got an infraction" "i got red rep" "i got neg i-trader" threads posted in this forum, with a sticky about each of them topics here, no-one reads them. you can make 500 stickys in one forum, everyone will just scoot to page 50 looking for the "i got an infraction" post
Well, if we stickied everything that any one member had an interest in, we would end up with every thread being stickied, no?
