There are few simple steps i have found for Clickbank earning:

1. Select a Clickbank product to promote
2. Send traffic to the landing page with PPC/PPV & Also using SEO
3. Promote it using Forums, Articles, Social Media Websites etc
3. Start earning progit

 

It certainly is that simple, but the devil is in the details.

If you start and have no money to invest, write quality and honest reviews in web 2.0. sites!
After first earnings, invest a part of them in PPC and start (CAREFULLY) to experiment. I suggest reading some guides about PPC (just google it) because it's not easy at the beginning to make profit with it!
Never give up and learn from mistakes!

 

lets say i found a product on CL lets say for dog training. I find a forum about dog training and post helpful post/threads. Would that lead to any sales? Thanks

Landing page:
where should the text go to attract the readers attention. What color should the site be to attract more sales. What style works best for user experience AND SEO purposes. If you have sign up form what side of the site should it be on, or should it enter as a pop up? Does a blog style work best or a single product review/3 product review.

SEO: how many links per day/month for new sites. Should you utalize no follow and do follow links. On page SEO such as KW density, unique quality content. Google+ 1, should your about us page go to a profile linked to your Google account? finding blogs you can comment on that have same category as your site. Silo stacking your site for less links but better rankings. Why does #1 site have 30 links but you have 400 and you are not in top 100? are the links permanent. So much more but the hell with it, you get it.

User Experience: What are the users looking for? Do you provide them the answer in 8 seconds or less? what is the age group, sex and race of the person buying from you?

Stats: Where is your traffic comming from? What browser do they use (do the majority of your users come from an iphone or desktop?) what country. So they have lower end resolution monitors or wide screen? do they use IE or Firefox?

Keyword Research: How do I find KW with 22,000 exact searches a month that are easy to rank for and have 7 words in them while nobody else can? What are commercial keywords and how do you know if they are in fact, commercial value? How do you find if a KW is easy to rank for before you waste time and money on SEO?

Why can I change the color of my "click here" button and increase conversions by 11% overnight?

Hi Spencer 13.... That's certainly one way and an effective way.... I do the same, however usually with several forums.... But to really generate targeted traffic you will need to consider implimenting several methods....

Setup your website with google analytics this will give you a great idea where the traffic is comming from.
Then do the following.
1 SEO and Keywords
2 Forums as you already mentioned.
3 Send Newsletters to your list (YOU NEED A LIST FIRST)
4 Email signatures (Your customers may want to get hold of you so provide them with an email address)
5 Write good quality articles to several of the top article directories
6 Classified ADS
7 Give stuff away online (create / buy an ebook and rebrand it)
8 Advertise on Twitter / Facebook etc
9 Video Marketing (youtube)
The list goes on and on....

One of the keys here is short term vs long term success. For short term success, you will need to use other people's web properties because your new website will have no authority. In the pre-Google Panda world, this was article directories, but their results have been hit very hard by Google Panda. Now, social networking like Facebook seems to be better. While having short term success, you can be building your own web property for longer term success. Also, everybody follows the same strategies so always come up with a twist of your own. The "twist" can be difficult to discover, but once you discover it through trial and error, you'll be on your way!

I think that the best way to make sales from affilate is to promote it by using ads, for example Google adwords, or social media such as facebook, youtube or twitter. good luck for you.

 

This sounds really effective. Going to try this method and see how it works. Who are the top articles directories CURRENTLY, because i've read from here and other places that some directories do not help your SEO or ranking..?

 

If only it were actually that easy. It's the details, like someone said earlier, that makes things complicated.

 

Building a list and a RELATIONSHIP with your list is the key

 

After panda, if you opt to rank with articles, you need to:

1) Submit your content to sites that have not been affected by the Google Panda Update.
2) If you have a new site, you'll need some patience and relevant backlinks (backlinks that come from sites related to your niche).
