    Hello,

    I have a very simple question out and going, i have already asked one server provider that gave me an answer, but a second provider gave me another answer..

    Basicly, which one are correct?

    Core2Duo = 2.3ghz
    Dual CPU Xeon = 1.83 ghxz

    Which server is the best ? Look away from RAM and SPACE, but at the server itself and its GHZ. What is the best?

    Thanks,
    Freddy :)

    PS: not 100% sure if this was the correct category ;)

    So you mean 2 x 1.83 GHz (3.66) against a 2.3 GHz?

    Core2Duo = 2.3ghz

    Offers longer lasting performance unlike xeons which were built for heavy loads!

    And btw, Ganesh is the guy who is making this huge Arguements! I have several providers and now Dominic that is telling him that D2C is the best.

    If someone else could please confirm me or Ganesh so we can get this straight.

    Thanks,
    Freddy

    Core 2 Duo processor are definitely a better suggestion. You can check the following link :

    Core2duo's are a different area of computers/servers than the older, dual xeon series. However, if it's a Xeon Dual Core, I would opt for the second.

    I agree that the core2duo is the better option.
