Goodnight everyone, I have a quick question that I've been needing answers for. I'm rewriting my business plan and was considering building a net work of sites on sub-domains. See funds are limited for me at this time and I was wondering if it's safe for me to build my main site www.domain.com and then a ton of sub-domain sites be hide it. Focusing on the same niche but with all unique hand written content. That will be interlinked together say 20 or 30 of them and then a new batch linking to the old 20-30. And from this net work of sub-domains will be link trades focusing on my main site. Don't get me wrong I won't be linking to my main site from these sub-domains. Just wondering if it's safe and a good idea... Thank you, Jeffrey_L

Well, yes you can do it but i have a better option. Interlinking from within a domain doesn't have as much SEO benefits as links from other domains. A sub-domain link has no extra added value from a link from a page of the same domain, e.g. A link from xyz.domain.com has the same value as a link from domain.com/xyz . What you can do is, create miniblogs from free blog hosts like wordpress, blogger, etc.., add content and create a mininet. The concept of a mininet is a little complex as it includes random interlinking from various sites & pages and yet passes priority to a particular page. You can google for more information on a mininet.
