Simple Question : How to configure a domain to my root folder?

    Hey Experts,

I am new to Apache and server administration and I wonder how can I configure a domain so that it's linked to my server's root folder (var/www/html/websiteFolder) rather than linking it to (home/websiteFolder) ... what lines should I add to httpd.conf?

Your help would be really appreciated!

    Thanks,

You just need to edit your httpd.conf file and have to add change following directive in your domain virtulhost.

    You are done ....

-Would there be a difference if I need to host multiple domains on my server?
-I am using a 'Simple Control Panel' on my virtual dedicated server, would this interfere/deny my Apache configurations?

Yep, there would be difference. You will have to insert different location for your every other domain. I guess, you should be using webmin control panel. It is pretty easy to configure virtualhost using webmin.
