Everybody knows that in Wordpress everytime you add new keywords as tags for a specific webpage, a new webpage will be created related to that tag. And we all know that Adsense has a very strict policy when it comes to unique content to our websites. My question is simple: can we have a problem with Adsense because of those duplicate pages which are created for any new tag added? Will the Adsense account be disabled because of something like this? Any help on this issue will be greatly appreciated. Thanx in advance !!!
I think for this small issue your adsense will not get disabled but it will definitely affect your SEO.
I've been running adsense sites for the past couple of years with nothing but duplicate content, and each of posts on those sites have several tags, and to this day, i've got no problem with either Adsense or SERPS, sites are ranking for several keywords on page 1 of Google. I always say that don't believe everyone who "advises" about SEO. Just listen/read what they say about SEO and then test it yourself, and see whether the theory presented to you by many "SEO experts" is true or not.
To my understanging the uniqueness criteria was made to combat people just copy-pasting information out of other websites. I would say that if you have your own content on multiple pages in wordpress you are safe. Blogs operate this way normally, and I have not heard of any real content sites being suspended from Adsense because of it
it will not create any problem at all tags help to navigate people and tag is just one word so even if you have say 80 tags its ok .. the most important thing is the content of article
Well i believe that i have correct answer for your question..! Adsense will have problem with the pages with no content or very similar content on them for example you will have same content on http://your-domain.com/tags/celebrity-news http://your-domain.com/tags/celebrity-gossip The solution is use no-index tag for those pages and do not let them get indexed..! This way your website won't have any harm of getting De-indexed from search and your adsense will remain safe too because your are not getting direct traffic on those pages which have similar content..!
you won't have a problem, the worst that can happen is that google search doesn't send any visitor to your tag pages, oh big deal..
Here i think, if we display only links of particular post on Tags page in WP, we can avoid duplicate content issue for adsense as well will be helpful to improve seo score.
The duplicate content policy is in reference to content on other websites, not on the same domain. But as suggested above, you should noindex the tag pages, there is no reason to have them indexed.
How can I avoid to index them. I just add some tags to the new page created and I hit Publish. So...how can I avoid for them to be indexed by google ?
So ....those duplicate pages will not carry too much weight in the eyes of google?...Cuz when you search your website on google .....and its says that it includes 1000+ pages and not only 100+ ....I think it should carry some weight. I`m just not sure just how much it really counts this particular aspect.
