simple question about cashing check

sorry i am a newbie about cashing check, infact till now i never cashing a check so i want to ask you simple question,

for example if i have received my check from google, is there anything i should take to the bank to identify to prove this is my check? so if just in case the check was lost no other people can cash it.

yes you must have a bank account in the same name as is written on the check. You cannot cash this check, meaning it needs to go into a bank account, you can't receive cash money by giving the check.
