And the second, cuz I'm not a huge fan of "Broadway"... it's a little dated.

 

Ok... here's some feedback.

WOW! Great participation here...

Xavier, the problem with your design is that you broke all the rules (black background, no lightbulb, use of magenta/pink, not a corporate look). Unless you read the rules, understand them, and abide by them, I will ignore your posts.

Kia, leave the dot (I like it). Try giving some light effect to "ideas". Like using #990000 & #FF0000 in horizontal way. Maybe some shadow... Use your creativity, you are on right track.

Bangalore, I like the 1st concept, just don't like the font used, neither the color.

Pixel, not bad (I've been wondering about orange for a long time). I don't like the bulb... just think about that logo on 1" x 1.5" space... you won't see that "microphone?"

Speeno, too simple. Remember we are an "image" company...

Mac, I like it. Try some color effects for "ideas" and make "creative group" bigger and a more elegant font.

The contest will be over tomorrow (Saturday) at 11:00 EST. The entries are good, you still have time for entering and do changes as per my feedback.

The favorites until now are Kia & Mac if they make the changes I requested, they will continue on top.

Xpressions, I like your 1st concept (but I think is missing something)....

Aristoteles... you got into my list of favorites. Maybe using another color for "creative group". When I mentioned red, I meant to mix it with the burgundy to create a lighting effect on the word.

 

i gave what you asked, i might try again later on, see what i can come up with.

 

Simple doesn't need to be boring. I just don't want logos with 10 effects and colors that won't be readable on a check of my company or a pen I give to my customers.

thanks for the feedback... one question... of the two I submitted, which font treatment for "IDEAS" would you like me to work with? The "broadway" font, or the other?

 

I like the Broadway font one.

Also remember guys...... I will need the final design in vectors, if I don't have it is useless for me.

If you could change, edit, improve the lightbulb... would be much better. I like the color combination you used.

yeah i'll do that! are you looking for a more realistic lightbulb? or a cartoonish one

 

I wouldn't like it cartoonish since I'm looking for a corporate image. But if you look at kia's design, even it's not real, I love it, it's different, kindof "unique", modern but not "funky". NO! I'm not saying to copy, but to understand what I mean about "exceptions".

 

Okay, I just noticed the vector artwork post. I will need to create this entry in another program.
