    Hi there,

    A simple Pagerank question: Seomoz Youmoz blog has PR6, but a months old post has toolbar PR0. How can this be?! Shouldn't it have PR5 or so?

    PR isn't a site wide ranking. Google ranks each page within a site individually.

    @croni
    As the name refers it only shows the rank of certain page not the entire website. So it is obvious to see difference between various pages of the site. If you check further on seomoz you can see some blog posts with PR5 too, it depends on the importance it has in Google's PageRank point of view and hence the result.

    Crap.

    It's PAGE rank, not DOMAIN or SITE rank.

    Nice thing though, is a site's front page PR will eventually filter through to its pages.

    A month old page is hard to get PR5, although the site index page has PR6.

    i have read some book about google, PR can be a measure how important our site in search engine,

    in other opinion, PR can make our site easily indexed by google.. :)

    If the content on the page is equally great coupled with the visits on the page, then in the next PR update surely the pagerank can be high... even close to the homepage PR.

    the main website page rank doesn't matter, every page has its own page rank, by the way I suppose that the home page rank is somehow considered
